D312A Germanium Distortion – Limited Edition Filtered Drive
The Distortion Filter D312A is a limited edition hard clipping distortion built around rare Soviet era D312A germanium diodes. These unique components give the pedal a rich, saturated character with a smooth but authoritative edge that stands out immediately in a mix.
On its own, the distortion sounds incredible: warm, harmonically dense, and extremely touch responsive. But the D312A goes further by adding a built in band pass filter that opens up an entire world of tone shaping possibilities. Use it to dial in cocked wah tones, QOTSA style filtered distortion, or subtle shifts that tighten or brighten your sound without losing the core germanium voice.
Each unit is hand built, individually numbered, and limited to only 165 pieces worldwide.
 
Tone Shaping Power
The Gain and Level controls handle the main drive texture, delivering everything from gritty vintage grind to thick, full on distortion.
The Frequency and Depth controls shape the band pass filter, allowing you to sweep the midpoint and adjust how pronounced the filter effect becomes.
 
Rare Components, Boutique Craft
Great Eastern FX designed the D312A around three authentic D312A germanium diodes salvaged from Soviet era stock. This gives the pedal a unique clipping response that cannot be replicated with modern parts.
Each enclosure features a hand stamped serial number plate, reinforcing its limited edition status.
